Swiss brand, Longines has long been involved in equestrian sports, with a background in this that dates back to 1878. Locally, the brand has collaborated with the Singapore Turf Club as its sponsor for the Singapore Gold Cup.

The latest edition boasted S$1.35m in prize money for participants to vie for. Held in mid-November 2014, it was also Longines' fifth year in sponsoring the event. The Singapore Gold Cup Day is also the club's Annual Charity Race Day, with Longines' adopted charity, Rainbow Centre – Margaret Drive School, as the main beneficiary.

The official watch for the Longines Singapore Gold Cup 2014 is a marvellous column-wheel chronograph constructed of steel and rose gold that falls under the Conquest Classic collection.
