Bridgestone offer drivers a higher level of safety with its DriveGuard Run-Flat Technology tyres

If you’ve ever been stranded on the roads because of a damaged or punctured tyre, you’ll know the benefits of added safety and extended mobility can go a long way when it comes to tyres.

Bridgestone Singapore says its newest release, the third generation DriveGuard Run-Flat Technology (RFT) tyres, will be able to provide troubled drivers with such functionality.

With the new third generation RFT, these DriveGuard tyres enable drivers to keep control and continue driving up to a maximum distance of 80km at a maximum speed of 80km/h in the event of tyre trouble.

Nano-Pro Tech compound and Cooling Fin technology combine to reinforce the DriveGuard RFT tyre’s sidewall, allowing for better handling control. The asymmetrical tread pattern with deeper lug depth is also equipped to take on driving conditions of all kind

Bridgestone Singapore has brought in common tyre sizes for Singapore ranging from 15 to 20 inches.

It has also introduced the Ecopia H/L 001, a tyre designed for Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) owners who are looking at a balance between safety, durability and fuel efficiency.
