If you’re like us here in the TG office, you’ll have wasted many lunch breaks by messing about on car configurators. The majority of that time, of course, is spent making the most outlandish (or most expensive) version of the particular car in question.
It’s all part of the game.
And now, thanks to the new Porsche Taycan configurator, we have fresh material for our procrastination.
The Taycan has launched in Turbo and Turbo S specs (yep, we know) with the equivalent of 625bhp being produced by their front and rear motors combined. The Turbo S, though, gets ‘overboost’ in sport mode – taking its total outlay to 761bhp. Wow.
The images here are of our attempt at making the most garish example of what is a really rather stunning car. How do you think we did? We can’t imagine many Taycans will be sold in that Carmine Red paint with body-coloured wheels. This one also has more badges than a spoilt child on its birthday.
