New 100kW BYD ATTO 3. Category A COE-friendly EV for the masses

Singapore - Vantage Automotive, authorised dealership for BYD Passenger Cars in Singapore, has announced the launch of a Category A-friendly version of their ATTO 3 electric SUV. Originally introduced in July 2022, the ATTO 3 then was available with a 150kW rating, which meant that it qualified as a Category B COE car. With the difference between Category A and B COEs standing at $22698*, it is clear why the 100kW car makes sense.

According to Vantage Automotive, the 100kW ATTO 3 will receive the same suite of tech features as the 150kW car. This includes Stop & Go, Adaptive Cruise control, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, DiLink Smart Voice Assistance, Batman tyres, and the recently launched BYD App among others.

It will receive the same 60.5kWh blade battery as the 150kW car, and charging time remains the same, at under 45 minutes to charge from 20% to 80% with a 50kW DC charger. The official (WLTP -City) maximum range on a single charge is rated at 565km.

The next vehicles in BYD’s pipeline for Singapore are the Seal and Dolphin, which are expected to reach our shores in the second half of 2023.
