NB Auto appointed official dealer for BAC in Singapore and Malaysia : BAC's Back

Singapore - As part of their global expansion plans, Briggs Automotive Company (BAC) has announced a new BAC sales division for Singapore and Malaysia, appointing NB Auto Pte Ltd as the official dealer for BAC’s vehicles.

“Mono is a true global supercar, and is now exported to over 47 territories. Our latest Mono R is the new reference for supercars and the brand-new concept e-Mono has been well received around the world as a viable and credible way to drive towards zero emissions,” said Neill Briggs, co-founder of BAC.

“We are delighted to welcome the team at NB Auto to the BAC family and look forward to delivering their demonstration Mono supercar later this month, ready to show potential customers in this exciting new territory for Mono.”

If the Mono doesn’t sound familiar (or if it sounds new) to you, here’s a refresher. The BAC Mono is a single-seater, track-ready, sub-600kg car powered by a naturally aspirated 2.5-litre Mountune engine that produces 305bhp in the Mono and 342bhp in the Mono R.

Of course, this isn’t NB Auto’s first foray into British marques since they were first established in 2014.

The company is also the official dealer for Morgan Motor Cars here in Singapore. No strangers to open top British-made sportscars then.

In addition to being the sole distributor for Morgan and BAC vehicles, NB Auto also operates a dedicated vehicle storage facility for collectible cars as well as the importation of said collectible cars.

“We are delighted to be appointed as BAC dealer for both Singapore and Malaysia. This represents a new milestone for our company as we continue to expand,” said Mr. Douglas Ng of NB Auto.

“BAC is the world’s only bespoke single-seater supercar which redefines the spirit of driving with cutting edge technology and futuristic design. We look forward to showcasing the technological highlights of the Mono and the essence of pure driving thrill.”

NB Auto will have a BAC Mono on display on their premises for prospective customers to view, drive and purchase.

The car will be positioned as a track-day lifestyle car with multiple driving events planned in the future.

In addition to offering the full Mono range, the NB Auto team will also present the Mono at Malaysian automotive events, which gives potential customers a chance to experience the BAC Mono since the car's launch 10 years ago.

While the car will not be road legal here in Singapore, the NB Auto team is currently checking if the Mono can be registered for road use in Malaysia. So stay tuned for that.
