Crafted for the Future : The Mercedes-Benz Showcase at Raffles City
Raffles City, Singapore - As we step towards a greener future, Mercedes-Benz is steering towards sustainability by launching an ecocentric pop-up store featuring its latest line of eco-friendly cars, but also sustainable art installations.
The pop-up store at Raffles City is a temporary space and the vehicles will be on display from the 1st to the 3rd of September 2023.
This futuristic space is designed to redefine the way we think about luxury and sustainability.
Mercedes-Benz will showcase its current crop of EVs, such as the EQE, EQB and EQA.
However, the star of the pop-up store is definitely the two sleek EQS models, the Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 and the Mercedes-EQ EQS.
Visitors have the opportunity to explore these vehicles up close to immerse themselves in the futuristic cars' state-of-the-art features and luxurious interiors.
With the intention of steering the conversations towards a greener tomorrow, Mercedes-Benz has also included a variety of art installations.
‘Reclaimed Sculpture: Land, Sea, Air’ is an artwork by environmental artist Zen Teh.
Commissioned by Mercedes-Benz, the sculpture explores the sustainability in recycling and upcycling, achieving true sustainability.
TANCHEN studio breathed a second life with ‘Reincarnation’ by utilising used Mercedes-Benz seat belt straps and buckles, cockpit screens and a variety of materials in their upcycling efforts.
TANCHEN studio hopes to push boundaries by igniting the curiosity of the visitors with creativity.
The pop-up store isn’t limited to static displays and art installations.
Mercedes-Benz is offering a unique opportunity to experience luxury and sustainability by taking a test drive in its all-electric models.
The Mercedes-Benz's pop-up store at Raffles City might be a temporary attraction, but it is a testament to how luxury can indeed be sustainable.
