Eurokars Supersports celebrates the McLaren brand's big 60 in Singapore
Gillman Barracks, Singapore – Under Eurokars Supersports, the largest gathering of McLaren sportscars in Singapore got together to commemorate the brand's 60 years of racing heritage and innovative spirit.
From the Senna to the MP4-12C to the 720S and even the latest Artura plug-in hybrid model, over 40 McLaren sportscars gathered at the Gillman Barracks to form the number '60', which incidentally set the national record for the most number of McLarens showcased.
Founded by Bruce McLaren sixty years ago, the New Zealand-born racer, engineer, and visionary set-up the racing team in England. McLaren is the only team in history to have achieved the ‘Triple Crown of Motorsport’, with race victories in the Monaco Grand Prix, Indianapolis 500 and Le Mans 24 Hours, and remains one of the world’s most successful names in motorsport.
Mr. Chong Kah Wei, Managing Director, McLaren Singapore at Eurokars Supersports said, “We are thrilled to celebrate this significant milestone with our passionate and dedicated community of McLaren owners and fans. Today’s event pays tribute to Bruce McLaren’s legacy and embodies the spirit of innovation, performance and camaraderie that McLaren represents.”
