Good news motorsport fans. There’s a new generation of Porsche’s 911 GT3 Cup car coming, and it looks like it’ll get a huge version of the upcoming GT3 road car’s swan-neck rear wing.
Is there anything better than a massive wing on a race car? It’s what we all want to see.
The GT3 Cup is one heck of a successful racer too. Porsche has sold 4,251 of the things since its introduction way back in 1990, and they now run in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup as well as national Carrera Cup championships.

We’ll see the full unveiling and hear all of the Cup’s technical specs later this month, but Porsche says it has been working on this 992-gen car since mid-2018. In recent months it has tested at Weissach, the Lausitzring, Monza and the GP circuit at the Nürburgring.
Shout out for that camouflage too. Apparently, it’s not just a monochrome psychedelic pattern – it actually mirrors the outlines of famous racetracks. Excited to see the finished product, folks?
