New Porsches Land in Singapore

The Porsche Circuit is an event to celebrate Singapore's jubilee as well as the 30th anniversary of Stuttgart Auto, sole dealer of Porsche in Singapore. A celebratory event, The Porsche Circuit, will be held at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, Halls 401 - 402, on Friday, 24 July 2015.

Two new 911 variants ' the 911 Targa 4 GTS and the 911 GT3 RS, as well as two unique celebratory models ' the 911 Turbo S SG50 Custom-built for Singapore and the Cayenne SG50 Exclusive Edition, which is limited to 10 units for Singapore, were unveiled.

911 Turbo S SG50 Custom-built for Singapore

The 911 Turbo S SG50 Custom-built for Singapore was built to celebrate Singapore's 50th year of independence. It includes special SG50 elements which are only available in this exclusive piece and features the Singaporean national colours with its red and white colour scheme in the exterior and interior. Black wing mirrors, a black front bonnet as well as design lines in Guards Red and White on the front bonnet, roof, engine cover and rear wing.

The interior features 12-o??clock-marking in Guards Red on the SportDesign steering wheel and Pebble Grey & Guards Red stitching on its rim. Special elements include an SG50 logo embossed storage compartment lid, a Carrara White Metallic dashboard trim and the illuminated door sill guards in stainless steel are adorned with the special "911 turbo S SG50 Custom-built for Singapore" logo.

The 3.8-litre twin-turbo engine delivers 560 hp and generates maximum torque of 700 Nm. This can be increased to 750 Nm with the 'overboost' function included as part of the Sport Chrono Package.

Fitted as standard, Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) enables the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.1secs, all the way up to a maximum speed of 318km/h. For added safety, there's the high-performance Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) and the new LED main headlights in conjunction with Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS). Greater stability is ensured by systems such as Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) and the new rear-axle steering.

The 911 Turbo features include the split rear wing. Together with the adaptive spoiler on the front apron, this forms part of the newly developed Porsche Active Aerodynamics (PAA) system. Both spoilers are deployed in three stages and are specifically designed for the requirements of performance driving.

911 GT3 RS

Featuring extensive modifications to its drive system, aerodynamics and lightweight design, the 911 GT3 RS is powered by a 4.0-litre six-cylinder engine with 500hp and 460Nm of torque, combined with a specially developed PDK transmission. 0-100km/h is over in 3.3secs and to 200km/h takes 10.9secs. For the first time, the roof is made of magnesium; carbonfibre is used for the engine and luggage compartment lids, and other lightweight components are made of alternative materials.

This makes the RS model around ten kilograms lighter than the 911 GT3. In addition, the lightweight roof lowers the sports car's centre of gravity which improves its lateral dynamics.. The front spoiler lip, which extends nearly to the road, and the large rear wing reinforce its dominant look.

A 30cm wide recess extends centrally over the CRFP bonnet and the magnesium roof. Another characteristic is the unique front wheel arch air vents that extend into the upper section of the wings which increase downforce at the front axle.

Rear-axle steering and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus with fully variable rear axle differential, working with the wider front and rear track widths enable even better roll stability than in the 911 GT3. In addition, the 911 GT3 RS comes with the widest tyres of any 911 model as standard.

The interior of the 911 GT3 RS features new full bucket seats, which are based on the carbon bucket seats of the 918 Spyder. Other standard features are the Club Sport Package with a bolted-on roll cage behind the front seats, preparation for a battery master switch, and separately provided six-point safety harness for the driver and fire extinguisher with mounting bracket.

The optional Sport Chrono Package, which features – in addition to its integrated timers – the Porsche Track Precision app for a smartphone. The Track Precision app can be used to have lap times automatically measured via GPS, and to log data on a smartphone for many driving parameters such as vehicle speed, lateral acceleration as well as acceleration and deceleration in the driving direction. It manages this data and lets the driver share and compare it with other drivers.

911 Targa 4 GTS

To mark the 50th anniversary of the 911 Targa, a Porsche is offering the Targa in the more powerful and dynamic GTS version for the first time. Contributing to a boost in dynamic performance are the 430hp GTS engine, together with the standard Sport Chrono package, PASM chassis, 20-inch wheels and a sport exhaust system.

Top speed is over 300km/h with a PDK transmission, and 0-100km/h takes 4.3secs. Fuel consumption remains the same as the 911 Targa 4 at 9.2l/100km.

The rear wheel arches are flared an additional 22mm, and the rear tyres are 10mm wider. Inside, the Targa 4 GTS gets the four-way adjustable Sport Plus seats with their black GTS logo on the head restraints and black Alcantara throughout the interior, which Porsche claims to be half the weight of leather.

Cayenne SG50 Exclusive Edition for Singapore

Limited to 10 units in Singapore, this Edition includes distinctive SG50 design elements and additional equipment. Special paint scheme and interior trims including the illuminated stainless steel door sill carry the special "Cayenne SG50 Exclusive Edition for Singapore" logos.

The 3.6-litre V6 engine which generates 300hp, paired with the 8spd Tiptronic S, achieves the 0-100km/h sprint in 7.7secs. Top speed is pegged at 230km/h.

911 Carrera S Martini Racing Edition

Porsche Exclusive is hailed as the ultimate in personalisation straight from the Porsche factory in Germany. The 911 Carrera S Martini Racing Edition, based on the latest generation of 911 model series, features the signature 'Martini Racing Design" decals on the bonnet, roof, Aerokit Cup rear wing and sides. This feature is especially striking on the car's White exterior.

Apart from the 918 Spyder, the 911 Carrera S is the first Porsche model to carry this design. The Aerokit Cup emphasizes the sporting heritage of the 911 and its affinity with motorsport as the painted front spoiler creates a lower appearance and improves handling.

The 20-inch Carrera S wheels in Satin Platinum, Bi-Xenon main headlights including Porsche Dynamic Light System, SportDesign exterior mirrors, Carrera S Powerkit, Sports Exhaust System and Sport Chrono Package reinforce the sporty, dynamic appearance and exceptional performance of the car.

The interior sees 14-way adjustable electric memory sports seats in Black leather, in conjunction with the SportDesign steering wheel and the distinctive elevated centre console with the raised gear control create a racing-like environment. The leather equipment and the embossed Porsche Crest on the headrests accentuate the exclusivity of this special edition.

The dashboard trim and the illuminated door sill guards in stainless steel feature the '911 Carrera S ' Martini Racing Edition' logo in Red. It also includes an Indoor Car Cover made from breathable, anti-static and dirt-resistant fabric.

It's also available as a 1:43 scale model, offered by Porsche Driver's Selection. They are limited to 500 units worldwide and are individually numbered.
