We like cars, and I mean really, really like cars; not from the fuel economy/CEVS perspective either, but the nebulous ‘fun-to-drive’ point-of-view, which has been eradicated from the Singaporean psyche, thanks to our astronomical prices.
It’s a case of ‘pay-to-play’, but we never get into the absolute dollars and cents of buying these cars, because that’s the most gauche aspect of any car – especially a truly enjoyable one.
Such constant emphasis on the price does a terrible disservice to the machines that have so much more to offer than just an anecdotal mention. As they say, there's no point in fixating on the price of everything, because then you'll never learn the value of anything.
